  • aftercare
Our products are treated with high quality sealants to ensure they withstand the test of time. Although this creates a stain resistant and waterproof layer, certain chemicals or high acidity liquids can stain and penetrate the concrete. We therefore advise to clean any spills as soon as they occur with a micro fibre cloth and warm water, limiting the use of harsh cleaning chemicals on the surface. Excessive heat can also degrade the sealers integrity so we advise to use heat proof mats when using hot items and pans to avoid direct contact. Each bespoke piece will come with an aftercare pack for taking care of the surface. The longevity of your product will be maintained with good aftercare and a touch of love
  • orders / payment
Following the completion of your order form and agreement of design, a 50% deposit will be required to be paid up front. This will be sent over via invoice and once paid work on your masterpiece will commence. Upon completion of our quality assurance checks the full amount will be required to be paid prior to delivery.
  • indoor / outdoor

  • gfrc or microcement
GFRC stands for glass fibre reinforced concrete. It is a cement based composite product that is reinforced with a range of glass fibres to to improve its strength properties. The various ways to mould and cast GFRC from flowable to sprayable mixes make it an extremely versatile material for use within architectural and decorative concrete applications. Here at the concrete co. we specialise in GFRC. With the majority of our products and services being custom made with 100% GFRC. We feel this approach offers extremely high quality and is built to last. Microcement is a cement-based coating that can be applied to many surfaces to create a concrete look. Usually applied to an existing surface such as plasterboard or MDF. Where appropriate we may include microcement in a design to enhance a product finish. But the main bulk of all our products and services will always be 100% GFRC. However, If you have a specific microcement colour or finish in mind let us know as we will be happy to help.
